Matthew Niren is the Founder and CEO of Resume Surgeons. He majored in Political Science, a non-traditional path into tech and successfully transitioned into the industry by reframing his academic and internship experience into a resume that impressed recruiters.
Through over three competitive internships, including roles at Vimeo, Textron, and Dolby, Matthew gained firsthand insight into how resumes are evaluated and why strong candidates are often overlooked. He founded Resume Surgeons to provide clear, human-first resume feedback that helps students and early-career professionals earn interviews and stand out.
